Les luthiers Bruno DREUX, Jean-Louis PROCHASSON et l\u2019archetier Yannick Le CANU sont \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement unique. Les luthiers et archetiers fabricants Fran\u00e7ais attendaient depuis quelques ann\u00e9es un vrai rendez-vous avec les instrumentistes du quatuor. Quatre-vingt artisans cr\u00e9ateurs vous proposent une rencontre simple, \u00e0 taille humaine, loin des grandes messes de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nementiel.   <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Pour ce premier salon du violon au XXI\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle \u00e0 Paris, la rencontre avec les luthiers et archetiers fran\u00e7ais permettra d\u2019admirer et de d\u00e9couvrir un savoir faire particuliers unique, transmis de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration mais en perp\u00e9tuelle \u00e9volution. La lutherie fran\u00e7aise rayonne aujourd\u2019hui dans le monde entier par son savoir faire et ses innovations. Les formes, les techniques, les vernis, la qualit\u00e9 des bois sont toujours au centre de la cr\u00e9ation magique de cet instrument de musique.

\u2026 for the viola, cello and double bass will take place on 29 and 30 November 2014 at La Bellevilloise (19-21 rue Boyer, 75020 Paris). It is the dream child of violin makers Bruno DREUX and Jean-Louis PROCHASSON and bow maker Yannick Le CANU. For years, French violin and bow makers had been longing for an opportunity such as this, a chance to meet with string quartet musicians. Eighty creative craftsmen will be gathered in one place, providing you with a convenient opportunity to meet them, in a casual environment on a human scale.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This event will include instruments for each type of personality and each style of play, violins, violas, cellos and double basses for a musician\u2019s particular hand and ear, with a unique sound. The relationship between the musician and the maker is key to this symbiosis, which remains full of mysteries to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this first violin fair of the 21st century in Paris, the encounters with French violin and bow makers will allow you to discover and wonder at a very unique craft, passed on from generation to generation, whilst in continuous evolution. French violin making stands out today, all over the world, for its excellent craftsmanship and its innovations. The forms, the techniques, the varnishes and the quality of the woods are all key components of the magic of the creation of these musical instruments.
The bow is of paramount importance as well, and French bow making, which is also in constant evolution, will take centre stage at this important meeting for musicians.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
